What is the output impedance of the HV-1000?

The output impedance of the HV-1000 is about 50 ohms and is set by its internal circuitry. To realize good pulse "performance" (fidelity or squareness), we recommend using a short (8 inch or less) 50-ohm transmission line and 50-ohm load. Those are the conditions under which the specifications were determined. To prevent damage to the instrument, the load must not be open, shorted, or shorted to ground.
